BIKE FOR BRUNCH ~ Lunenburg to La Have

Bike for Brunch - Cycle from Lunenburg to the West Dublin Hall Farm Market every Saturday Morning for Brunch & Market Goods!


~ When? Start Biking at 8:30am every Saturday to catch the 9:15 ferry for a 9:40 arrival (17km Ride). The Farmer's Market is from 9am - 1pm at the West Dublin Hall.

~ Where? Meet at the Grace Lutheran Church Parking Lot - Corner of Masons Beach Road & Hwy #332.

~ What to Bring? Your Bike, Patch Kit, Water & Cash (there are no atm's)

Lunenburg - The Point, Blue Rocks 16km

Lunenburg to Blue Rocks is a great morning ride. Blue Rocks faces east and is therefor a great way to greet the day!


Recently paved with a shoulder, the Blue Rocks Road will take you through intimate fishing communities and coastal vistas. Don't forget to stop at the Point General Store for a coffee & Croissant at the Point before returning home!


Option to extend your ride through Stonehurst (paved), Heckman's Island (paved & gravel) and finish with the short Silver Point Road (paved).

Lunenburg - Hirtles Beach & Gaff Point Hike 45km

Lunenburg to Kingsburg is a spectacular day ride with option to swim & hike half way through!

This coastal ride starts off by leading you through the quiet coastal Masons Beach Road, down the small hwy#332 to the Kingsburg Road. Hirltes Beach Road is on the right at the bottom of the hill, this is where you can have a swim or hike Gaff Point.


This is a good ride for folks who ride often & are comfortable riding with cars as there is little to no shoulder on the road.

Lunenburg - Mahone Bay 25km (Rum Runner Trail)

The packed Gravel 'Rum Runner' Trail to Mahone Bay is a great half or full day ride that everyone can do! 


The flat packed gravel trail takes you through the Nova Scotian Forest to Mahone Bay. Stay for lunch and then come back along the Maders Cove Road, Princess Inlet & continue to ride out Second Peninsula if you're feeling like climbing a couple rolling hills to a magnificent crescent beach (35km total).

This is a coastal day ride for folks who are riding often & are comfortable on the road as there is little to no shoulder.


Did you say Bakery!?

Lunenbrug to the La Have is a beautiful coastal endurance ride which takes you across the La Have River by Ferry (5minute ride). You can have lunch at the La Have Bakery & Ice Cream at West Dublin Water Buffalo Dairy enroute to the Islands.

Lunenburg - Riverport / Indian Path Loop 40km

A fun loop that sends you down the coast to Rose Bay. This is a good ride for folks who are comfortable riding on the road, paved with no shoulder.


A good ride for those who are riding often and are comfortable sharing the road with cars. Stop off at the Rose Bay General Store or the Bayport Pub for a midway refresher!

Lunenburg - Indian Falls Park 100km

A rural route with rolling hills that leads you to a well deserved swim a local Waterfall!


An inland loops which takes you over drumlin hills by many beautiful lakes and ends at a waterfall! A great ride for anyone looking to spend a day on the bike, must be a regular rider & comfortable on the road with few cars.
